Progress
This week, we finally acquired the necessary materials to begin to make tangible progress. We got the parts from Joseph Appeah, an upperclassmen mentor of our group who learned under Dr. Ellis during his freshman design lab. Because we received the items on Friday, we could only begin tinkering with the arduino during lab. We began by connecting LEDs into a row and looking at basic example codes that arduino offers. Here is a picture of Jeremy messing with the LEDs color functionality.

Between now and next week we intend to get a better handle on arduino as it relates to the breadboard, as well as what how to make the spectrum shield function properly. Cassandra and Juan have been focusing on research as well as creating graphical representations of our progress and process.

Now that we have the items, we will be able to progress a lot faster as we will have physical items to adjust and fiddle with.
See "Research" page for our discoveries.
